Barnes Rugby Club

Results from the weekend 🏉

Our 1st XV started brilliantly in their game with league leaders Oundle, but the squad depth of the Northamptonshire outfit ultimately proved too much for the boys.

The Outriders put in another brilliant display to see off Battersea Ironsides and maintain their excellent start to this season.

The 1st XV now travel to Havant on the weekend looking to secure a W on the road ⚓️

UTB 💚💛

The Men’s 1XV are back on home turf this weekend, defending The GSP against league leaders Oundle. A huge test awaits, but the lads are fired up and ready for it. Get down and make some noise from the touchline — your support will be hugely appreciated! 💪

The 2XV and Outriders join forces to take on Battersea Ironsides. Here’s hoping this one lasts a little longer than 30 minutes… 👀

Two big games. Plenty to get behind. Come on, lads! 🏉

Player of the match - Captain Gus again!

A tough game against a well drilled Esher side, but despite an overall poor first half Gus lead a much improved side out after half time.

In the 2s, Ben Lodge won MOTD in a closely fought contest against Esher 2s.

Blake Henderson with MOTM for the outriders vs London Irish Wolfhounds!

Your weekend results!

The 1st and 2nd XV fell short against two strong Esher outfits away from home, but the Outriders produced a dominant display against London Irish Wolfhounds, clocking up an impressive scoreline.

Onto next week!

💚💛

Derby Day!

The mens 1XV & 2XV take on local rivals Esher which is always set to be a tasty clash.

The mens 1XV look to bounce back after two narrow losses, whereas the mens 2XV look to keep building on their solid start to the league.

The Outriders hold it down at GSP against London Irish Wolfhounds.

Lets go Barnooooowwwwwww!

Gameweek 3 Player of the Match - Captain Angus!

Despite a gutting loss, our Lord Farquhar continues to lead by example on the pitch with fierce tenacity, playing the full 80 mins.

Congrats to James Crabtree on his MOTM performance for the twos against Dorking.

Well done lads!
