A long mirror in a small living room is one of those simple design tricks that makes a big difference.
It reflects light, opens up the space, and instantly makes the room feel larger and brighter.
Whether leaned casually against the wall or mounted cleanly. it adds depth without taking up precious floor space.
Plus, it doubles the impact of your favorite pieces, art work, plants, or statement furniture.✨

Small hallway, rental rules… but still big personality ✨
This space started off narrow and forgettable, and because it’s a rental, the couple wanted to be smart with every move.
The brief from the couple was clear: add colour, keep it age appropriate, and make it feel considered, not temporary.
The hero moment? Their New Yorker collection.
Pieces that are worth showing deserved a backdrop that elevated them without overwhelming the space.
Proof that even the smallest rental spaces can have character 💛

Things like a chess set, candles, and magazines matter because they’re meant to be used.
They give people a reason to sit down, stay a little longer in the space you’ve decorated.
They’re not just there to look nice, they’re what make a home feel comfortable, lived in, and welcoming.

Wood has this natural warmth that just feels right and when you pair it with color, it gets even better. 🤎
A pop of something bold, like bright orange, brings the space to life without taking away from the beauty of the wood. 🍊
It’s that mix of grounded and playful that makes an interior feel real, lived in and full of personality.

So I thought…
why not re-introduce this enthusiast 🎨
Not being biased at all, but she truly is the best in town with her colours 😜
Her home is her black canvas aka her showroom.
Every piece is kept in impeccable condition and only goes up for sale once I get the green light 💚
Please do support, and yes… I promise (again 😅) to be consistent with her Instagram.

And she’s back… ✨
My mom just returned from a quick trip to Marrakesh, and you can tell it stayed with her.
The city has a quiet way of pulling you in, especially if you love interiors.
Marrakesh is all about handmade beauty carved wood, zellige tiles, worn textures, and pieces that feel collected over time, never styled to perfection.
If you’re ever in the city, think of: zellige tiles, vintage Moroccan rugs, leather poufs, brass lanterns, carved wood and woven textiles.
Look for imperfections, natural materials, and anything that feels collected, not mass made..
Those are the pieces worth taking home.

And just like that, we’re already heading into the last weeks of January! 🤯
We hope you all had a wonderful festive holiday season, hard to believe it feels so long ago now.
Here’s a photo of my mom’s 2025 Christmas tree, featuring her famous nutcracker collection ✨
Great news: she still has a few beautiful items left from the showroom, any questions please feel free to drop a message 📩

Porcelain ⚪️🔵
Blue and white porcelain are a timeless classic and can be incorporated into many different decor styles. Plus, the graphic blue and white color plays nicely with other color schemes.

The Art of Less is more, coming from a Maximalist 🐚
There’s an art to creating a minimalist space that still feels warm, inviting, and distinctly you and yes this may sound contradicting coming from a maximalist however, regardless of the preference of style that you prefer, credit is given when it’s due.
From carefully curated bookshelves to textured accessories and emphasizing architectural features, there are plenty of ways to create a calm, minimalist space and of course in my opinion having a fur baby makes it feel even more like home.
