A little reminder of what REAL SKIN looks like. Even A list celebrities, with all the money in the world, have texture, pores and the occasional bad skin day.

The pursuit of “glass skin” is one of the most damaging trends for the skins epidermal barrier because it encourages people to chase something that doesn’t exist. Real skin has texture. Real skin has pores.

The trend popularised lengthy, multi step routines promising flawless, poreless skin. But overworking your skin always catches up with you. The result? Barrier impairment, perioral dermatitis, breakouts, sensitivity and inflammation. 🔥

Now I’m seeing “glass skin” treatments combining ablative lasers, microneedling, hydradermabrasion, dermaplaning and peels, sometimes all in one session 🤯

That bright red, shiny skin flooding your feed isn’t healthy. It’s inflamed, vulnerable and coated in oil to exaggerate the shine under ring lights. That’s not glow. It’s a skin barrier in distress.

Healthy skin is built with patience, intention and respect for your skin’s biology. That’s where real glow, plumpness and smoothness come from.

Choose treatments that work with your skin, not against it. Think LED, microneedling, microcurrent, sonophoresis & iontophoresis, paired with physiologically compatible skincare.

If you’re going to take your skin seriously, choose someone who takes your skin seriously too. I’m here when you’re ready. 🙋🏻‍♀️

P.S. If someone’s advertising “glass skin”… RUN. 🏃🏻‍♀️

We loved being able to help our client from a healing journey for a exision of a cancerous legion Basel Cell Carcinoma, we did some medical light therapy in combination with topical stem cell exosomes and in just three weeks we were able to achieve these incredible results.

While scars can’t be completely erased, scar revision procedures can significantly improve their appearance by refining the shape, texture, and placement of the scar making them almost undetectable.
The goal is to help the scar heal in a way that looks smoother and more natural on the skin.

We are able to help any form of wound healing, from sutures or cuts bruises and burns from acidents and even cosmetic surgery if your want to get the best possible results and completly minimise scarring please get in touch as soon as possible, timing is everything as the sooner we start treating the better outcome of the scar.

By combining in clinic treatments with the correct homecare, we were able to support the skin safely and effectively through the repair process.

Have you been looking at the same mole / blemish for weeks, wondering whether you should get it checked?

You’re not alone. It’s easy to tell yourself it’s probably nothing, or that you’ll get around to booking an appointment another time.

But when it comes to skin health, getting answers sooner rather than later can make all the difference. That’s why we make the process quick, simple, and stress-free.

During your appointment, we take detailed dermoscopic images of any mole or lesion of concern and send them directly to our consultant dermatologists for expert review. You’ll receive your results within 72 hours, giving you clarity and peace of mind without the long wait.

If you’ve noticed a mole or lesion that’s changed, doesn’t look quite right, or is simply causing concern, trust your instincts and get it checked. Most of the time, it’s about gaining reassurance - and if something does need attention, it’s always better to know sooner.

This case perfectly demonstrates the value of having the right support at every stage of the journey.

Our client initially came to us for a mole screening after noticing a lesion she was concerned about. Using dermoscopic imaging, we were able to have the lesion reviewed by our consultant dermatologists, with a diagnosis confirmed in less than 72 hours.

The lesion was identified as a basal cell carcinoma, allowing our client to use the report to be referred directly to a dermatologist for removal, avoiding the need for a separate biopsy and helping to speed up the process.

Whilst the lesion itself was relatively small, the excision required a much larger area of tissue to be removed, leaving a wound that had a high risk of developing a prominent scar due to its location.

This is where our work began.

Following the procedure, we supported the healing process with a tailored scar revision programme including LED phototherapy and advanced topical recovery products. Just three weeks later, the area had healed significantly faster than we would typically expect without intervention, creating an excellent foundation for the next stage of treatment.

Our goal is not only to help clients access fast, expert diagnosis, but also to support them through recovery and achieve the best possible aesthetic outcome after surgery.

If you’re paying for treatments but not using your prescribed homecare, you’re limiting the results your skin is capable of achieving.

I say this all the time because it’s true: you cannot out-treat a poor homecare routine.

As a corneotherapist, my focus is always on supporting and protecting the epidermal barrier. The skincare I recommend isn’t just another skincare line. It’s specifically chosen because it works in harmony with the skin’s biology and helps create the ideal environment for long-term skin health.

It’s also free from fragrances, mineral oils, silicones, conventional emulsifiers and other unnecessary ingredients that can contribute to epidermal barrier disruption and skin sensitivity. Instead, the focus is on giving the skin exactly what it needs and nothing it doesn’t.

If you’ve swapped out your cleanser, started mixing in random skincare products or let your homecare slip, you may not notice the effects immediately, but your skin notices everything!

The best skin results don’t come from chasing the latest trend or miracle ingredient. They come from consistency, and using the right products day in, day out.

You spend around one hour a month with me in the treatment room. That leaves approximately 671 hours in between appointments where you’re either supporting your skin or working against it.

That’s why, as a corneotherapist, I place so much importance on homecare. What happens during those 671 hours will ultimately determine your results.

Trust the process. Stay consistent. Your skin will thank you for it 🫶🏻

Such an amazing couple of days at the Dermaviduals conference 🤍

Nothing inspires me more than being surrounded by people who are just as passionate about true skin health, education and corneotherapy. The level of knowledge, innovation and care behind this brand is honestly unmatched, and every conversation this weekend just reinforced why corneotherapy is the future of skincare.

Healthy skin will always be the goal ✨

One thing I’ve definitely changed my mind on since hitting my mid 30s is needing a specific eye product.

Then I started noticing those tiny little lines when I smiled… and the way my makeup began settling into them 👀

That was my turning point.

About a month ago, I introduced our NeoGenesis Eye Serum into my routine and I’m not exaggerating when I say those lines are literally softening before my eyes.

What makes it different, is the science behind it. It contains human stem cell derived exosomes, which essentially send signals to your skin cells encouraging them to behave in a more youthful, regenerative way. It’s not just surface level hydration, it’s communication at a cellular level.

Then you’ve got targeted peptides working on the things we all start to notice around the eyes
✨ Fine lines
✨ Dark circles
✨ Puffiness and inflammation

Plus hydration that actually supports the skin for long term results. Think of it like you eye area slowly remembering how to function better again 🧬

If you’re in that phase where your under eyes are starting to change, or you want a powerful product to help reverse signs of aging - this is one I’d genuinely consider 🤍

Unexpected breakouts do not always mean changing your treatment, they just change how we approach your skin on the day.

When skin is inflamed or reactive, the focus shifts to supporting the skin barrier, accelerating healing, and calming inflammation while still working toward your goals. That’s why no two appointments ever look the same here at ME.

For clients experiencing active breakouts, we’re mindful of:
• Ingredient selection (keeping it calming, decongesting, and barrier-supportive)
• Device settings (adjusting intensity to avoid overstimulation)
• Targeted techniques (like high frequency to support faster healing)

LED is also chosen very intentionally - blue light helps regulate bacterial influences, while near-infrared supports healing and reduces inflammation. Red light, although amazing for rejuvenation, can sometimes be a little too stimulating during more inflamed breakout phases, which is why we adapt accordingly.

Skin isn’t static and your treatments shouldn’t be either!
