Having restored a classic Suzuki, modified several sports bikes, rebuilt a motocross CR125 and made it road-legal, repaired a friends crash-damaged GSXR 750, carried out a fair amount of servicing and repairs

Whilst servicing this SEAT Ibiza a few weeks ago, when checking the brake components it was evident that the brake pads were beginning to delaminate from the backing metal. Luckily the owner is currently working from home and wasn’t using the car!
This is common in both cars & motorbikes after they have been washed, then, put away and laid up for a while.
So, a new pair of brake discs, a set of pads, and she’s now safe to use the car again!

Yesterday, out on the road carrying out mobile repairs, firstly a Suzuki Jimny for a new radiator, top & bottom coolant hoses, and a Fixed Price service. Then onto another area, to repair a SEAT Ibiza, suffering from a broken suspension spring & top bearing.

So yesterday, I returned the little Suzuki DR200SE to its’ owner. It’s now running perfectly after the carburettor rebuild and full service. The owner is now very happy!

This Suzuki DR200 Djebel is in as a non runner after being laid up for a while.
With contaminated fuel and a dirty carb, it’s no wonder.
But after a fuel tank and tap flush/clean, and a strip-down and clean of the carb, it is now back up and running.
Back at it!
