Consent ব্যতীত sample collection করা যাবে না, এমনকি test চলাকালীন মাঝপথেও patient তার consent withdraw করে নিতে পারে। তারপরেও sample collection বা test continue করলে তা গুরুতর অপরাধ হিসেবে পরিগণিত হবে। মৌখিকভাবে, ইশারা-ইঙ্গিতে অথবা লিখিতভাবে ভাবে consent নিতে হবে।
