I dunno who knows this but since I’ve been doing a lot more production work in the past couple of years I’ve decided to make it official by doing a masters degree in creative production. There’s a student showcase at The Dublin Castle in Camden and I’m gonna be playing a few songs.

Out walking. I’m super tired, a little snuffly and on a writing deadline. Usually, I would panic about not being on best form and try and reschedule work but I’m taking it slow and making pockets of focus. Getting in my DAW and sorting out some technical stuff like time stretching my enigma machine sound samples into musical time and mapping the ambient sound recordings to midi controller. I’m hoping I’ve set myself up for a quick burst of inspiration another day when all the ideas can come together in a coherent piece.
Meantime, what do you think of the green? I have to do some photos for my new project ‘Fen Woman’ that’s all about women embedded in folk songs and the earth. I always associate this landscape with noir black mud but I’ve also been thinking about colours for a website update to go with it and really loved this green.
