Thank you to everyone who joined the listening party yesterday, it was the most special day and my heart is full. So many people said to me afterwards that they couldn’t remember the last time they gave their full focus to an album, and how rewarding they found it – and that they’re going to do that with more music from now on. I couldn’t be happier about this.
Extra special thank yous to for making the listening room so beautiful, .williams.writer for the most thoughtful q&a, , and for keeping everything running smoothly and for your videography skills and saintly patience whilst sitting through the album for the 937482th time.

On this week two years ago, we recorded the vocals, bass and drums for Cycles. It was in the no man’s land between chemo and surgery, and I couldn’t have had a better focus or group of friends to help me contend with all the fear and sadness I felt at that time. , and , you’re fu***ng legends and i love you.

Life is pretty crazy right now 😮‍💨 i’m four weeks into a new job, my first since cancer, and feel like Anne Hathaway tripping around after Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt. There’s been a string of gorgeous weekend trips around the country to celebrate friend and family birthdays, on less gorgeous avanti west coast delayed trains. I came down with a fu***ng wicked cold. And I’m still at the hospital most weeks - today, back on the chemo ward for Zometa, a bone infusion which helps prevent the cancer ever coming back to my bones.
In amongst it all, the final single of my album comes out next Thursday, and the album itself in just under 3 weeks..! 💿
As I manage my meds-depleted energy levels through this period of intense change and busy-ness, the first thing I choose to drop is socials, so I haven’t shared much about what’s coming up in Blue Loop Land. The main thing for your diaries is my ALBUM LISTENING PARTY, the afternoon of Saturday 8th November. Ticket line in bio, I can’t wait to slow right down, get proper autumnally cosy and share this project with you 🍂 go get those tickets and give this yawning indie artist a little boost! You will not regret, it’s gonna be beaut.
