🏳️‍⚧️ Building allyship that makes a difference

This LGBTQ+ History Month, we partnered with F5 to deliver an interactive allyship session bringing colleagues together across Ireland, UK, India, and beyond.

The feedback? 100% would recommend it and want to learn more about LGBTQ+ inclusion.

What made it work? Creating genuine space for dialogue. When organizations prioritise real conversation about allyship, people show up ready to learn and engage.

Thank you to F5's EMEA Pride Chapter for championing this work 💜

Allyship isn't just awareness - it's building the knowledge and confidence to take action.

From Section 28 to inclusive workplaces 🏳️‍🌈

This LGBTQ+ History Month, we partnered with Allwyn UK to deliver a session on how we got from the silence of Section 28 to the inclusive language practices that build real belonging today.

The feedback spoke volumes:
✨ 100% enjoyed it and would recommend
✨ 100% want to learn more about LGBTQ+ inclusion
✨ Breakout discussions created genuine connection across teams

"I've been to many inclusivity sessions. The speaker here was the most balanced and open to discussing how to change behaviour by genuinely encouraging psychological safety."

What worked? Mixing history, practical tools, and honest peer conversation. When people understand the why behind inclusive language, they can lead with confidence - not fear.

Massive thank you to the Allwyn Pride Community for making this happen 💜

🎉 We're thrilled to be shortlisted for the Enterprise Award 2026! 🏳️‍🌈

This recognition means so much to our team. It's a reminder that the work we're doing with organisations across the UK and internationally to build structured, meaningful inclusion for LGBTQ+ employees and customers is making a real difference.

Congratulations to Bootyque and Grounded MCR on their shortlisting too.
Brilliant to see organisations genuinely committed to our communities being celebrated.

Thank you Gaydio for recognising our work!

🌈 How to be an active and confident ally to LGBTQ+ colleagues?

This LGBT+ History Month, we delivered our Active Allyship training for Four Agency Worldwide - one of our accredited Best LGBTQ+ Employers.

Over 90 minutes, their team learned how to:

✨ Use inclusive language with confidence
✨ Turn good intentions into everyday action
✨ Respond effectively to microaggressions
✨ Become genuine advocates for LGBTQ+ colleagues

The energy in the room was incredible. Real conversations, practical tools and a team ready to create truly inclusive culture.

This is what meaningful DEI looks like - not one-off initiatives, but ongoing commitment to learning and growth.

🌈 LGBT+ History Month is here and this year we're looking back at Section 28.

Section 28 banned the "promotion" of homos*xuality in schools and public spaces from 1988 to 2003. It created a generation of silence, where being LGBTQ+ wasn't talked about, acknowledged or supported.

That silence still echoes in today's workplaces. In the hesitation before using someone's pronouns. In the careful avoidance of anything that feels "too personal". In the worry about saying the wrong thing, so people say nothing at all.

We're offering a special session this February: "From the Silence of Section 28 to the Inclusive Language of Today".

It's a practical session, not a lecture. Your team will leave with language they can use and the confidence to use it.

Want to bring this to your organisation? Drop us a DM or email contact@q***rify.co.uk

What workplace moment made you realise silence wasn't neutral? 💬

In 2024, we made it our goal to do more for the LGBTQIA+ Communities.

Mental health support is for everyone, and we want everyone to feel comfortable and able to come to us in times of need.

This is an ongoing journey, and one we will continue working towards, but last month, we are proud to say we were awarded a Queerify Silver Award.

🌈 Inclusive Mental Health

Huge congratulations to Burton and District Mind for officially becoming an LGBTQ+ Safe Space through our accreditation programme! 👏

Over the past few months, they’ve worked with us at Queerify to:
✨ Deliver team-wide training
✨ Carry out a full audit of policies and practices
✨ Receive and implement recommendations
✨ Commit to continuous improvement

As a result, they’ve been awarded accreditation at the Silver level.

Now every LGBTQ+ person who reaches out to them knows they'll be respected, welcomed exactly as they are and supported without judgment 💜

A first that matters. 💜

Meet Newbridge House - the very first care home to earn our LGBTQ+ Safe Space accreditation 🌈

Nearly half of older LGB people in Britain don't feel comfortable being out to care home staff. Imagine living openly your whole life, only to hide who you are when you need care most.

That's why this matters.

Newbridge House didn't just tick boxes - they committed to real, lasting change. The kind that makes a difference every single day.

To the team at Newbridge House: you're leading the way. Thank you for creating a space where everyone can be themselves. 🏡💜

🏳️‍⚧️ Over 100,000 people filled the streets of London this Saturday for Trans+ Pride 2025 – the largest trans+ rights march ever recorded anywhere in the world!

The march began outside the BBC and made its way through Central London, ending at Parliament Square.
Held under the theme “existence and resistance”, it was a direct response to the UK Supreme Court’s April ruling that redefined the term s*x in strictly biological terms.

💬 Powerful speeches.
💪 Unshakable solidarity.
💖 A record-breaking 100k+ showing up for trans lives.

This turnout smashed last year’s 60,000 and cemented London as a global centre of trans resistance and visibility.

Walking together felt powerful.
A reminder that Pride is still a protest – especially now, with trans rights under threat and the UK dropping to 22nd on Europe’s Rainbow Map, drifting further from Western Europe on LGBTQ+ inclusion.
