Last year, EdEx funded The Holy Family School’s complete Forest School! 🌳

The school set out to create a Forest School – an outdoor space designed for hands-on learning, confidence building, and giving pupils the opportunity to develop beyond the classroom. The project was funded in full.

There is also a long-standing connection with the school, with Ryan’s Auntie working at the School for over 25 years as an SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting some of the most challenging pupils. Throughout that time, the focus has remained on hands-on support, helping children develop strategies that positively impact both school and home life.

Ryan recently spent the afternoon at the school, supporting a Year 4 class in the Forest School – building huts, creating dams, and embracing outdoor learning. It was a clear reminder of the value and impact this kind of environment can have.

Each year group now spends four weeks on a Forest School project, culminating in a portfolio of their work. Sometimes, a simple contribution can have a powerful effect.

🎉 He’s done it. After being so close not once, but twice… Josh Haynes has officially hit the requirement to become a Senior Consultant – and he absolutely smashed it 🎉

Josh celebrated his 3-year anniversary with EdEx back in October and since then he’s been on a real mission to become a Senior Consultant, all while setting himself a very hefty September permanent target (which as of today.. he’s already achieved 25% of it)

From day one, Josh has been a core member of the EdEx team. He turns up every day, gets his head down and gets on with it. No fuss, just consistent hard work.

Over the past year he’s built a number of long-standing client relationships, with several schools now working exclusively with him. A real testament to the standards he sets when it comes to candidate quality and service.

This is only the start for Josh, and we’re excited to see where he can take it from here 🚀

Chloe will be working exclusively alongside Ryan, helping support and service his ever-growing client base.

Congratulations to Ellie for winning “Consultant’s Employee of the Year” for 2024

Ellie received an overwhelming amount of votes across the office, with tons of lovely, justified comments attached.

As our Compliance Officer, Ellie is always juggling multiple tasks at once, guiding people through the compliance and onboarding process, chasing references, DBS checks and more.

She does it all with a smile and is always supportive and there to lend a helping hand for anything we need.
