Myself and the Rhodes team have been working day and night on this incredible new piano… more news very soon!
Just finished this 1975 for Rob Taggart. Big overhaul including new tolex by Roost Amplification and hardware, tips, felts, screws, grommets, new wiring and phono socket, new front panel felt, key levelling, several key tops replaced, new harp hinge and spacer and a good old clean up! Plays and sounds rather splendid i hope you agree!

Well, this has to be some of the worst diy pickup rewiring I’ve ever seen and no wonder there’s no output! Time to put it right!

Another 1975 has just left the building after a full rebuild-pics below. Next up, a 1979 Stage, 2 x 1974 Stages, a 1980 harp rebuild, and so it continues! Pleasure bringing these back to life.

Been working on 88 Suitcase number 1 for Tori Amos, replaced midrange hardened tips, one snapped hammer from a donor 1973 stage, testing and replacing damper arms (top c bridle strap held on with wire!) added a shim to right harp support to correct insufficient escapement on treble side, new damper felts, next up full regulation from the keybed upwards- got 4 x 1975 models in at the mo, and frankly, they all came in a complete mess- very satisfying get them back to full health.

You name it it’s getting done- jobs including replacing key tops, adding new rca jack and sockets, new pickups, bump mods, screw, grommet replacement, tine re-alignment and replacement, cosmetic restores including Tolex, new badges, new damper felts, damper arms, springs... the list goes on!
Hey folks. Hope you’re all well. Apologies- A bit delayed getting into my new workshop space but not forgotten about everyone on the waiting list. Will update here soon. Thanks for your patience. Dan

Hey RhodesWorks customers and followers! I hope you are all well during these crazy times. Forgive my absence but I’m hoping to be back up and running next month. It’s very heartening after a considerable break that I’m getting so many new enquiries. I’m currently trying to schedule everything so that everyone on the waiting list doesn’t have to wait long so will be contacting folks in chronological order ASAP so to be fair as possible. Rhodes Mark V unregulated action before (top pic) and during regulation work (lower pic). Almost done now. Big difference already! Just black key heights to finish, couple of white keys still annoying me and to re-level but then it’s a wrap!
