Round 4 of the Nat2North season and Hull Ionians RUFC were the visitors to Rudding Lane this afternoon.

Ionians were coming into this weekend having started the season unbeaten and the Aces were hoping to replicate their last win at home against Billingham.

Harrogate would unfortunately find the away side continuing their winning form and reaffirming their top of the table credentials!

Back at the Apollo Capital Stadium today as Hull Ionians RUFC were the visitors in this afternoon's Nat2North fixture!

With last weeks away defeat to Preston in the rear view mirror, the Aces would hope their home form could continue with another victory like in Round 2.

The Ionians were 3 from 3 unbeaten before today and their momentum continued with victory at Rudding Lane taking their 4th win. Only Sedgley Park and Ionians go into Round 5 unbeaten in Nat2North.

On the road with Harrogate Rugby as they travelled west to Preston and to Lightfoot Green Lane to the home of the Grasshoppers!

Both sides were going into this fixture of the back of wins in both Round 1 and 2, but Grasshoppers would race into a convincing 40 point lead going into the sheds at half time.

It most certainly would be a game of two halves with the Aces coming out after the break with back to back scores in an attempt to secure something from the journey. Harrogate would secure a Try Bonus to take back to Rudding Lane, but Preston had done enough in the First Half to make it 3 from 3 for the season so far!

A return to the Apollo Capital this week as Harrogate RUFC welcomed Billingham RUFC I'm the National 2 North!

The Aces were hoping to continue their winning momentum after Round 1 on their return to the National Leagues.

Despite the away side taking the early lead in the match, Harrogate would go on and take another 5 point victory!
