Well, this is a nice one.
We’ve been named one of the Top 150 Agencies in the North of England by Prolific North.
A lot goes into keeping an agency moving. Good ideas, strong opinions, plenty of problem-solving and a team who genuinely care about what they put out into the world.
We’ve got a lot of people to thank for that - our brilliant clients, our team, and everyone who’s trusted us with something important and let us get stuck into it.

We’re looking for someone who loves turning ideas into digital experiences that look great, feel intuitive and make an impact.
You’ll be working across websites, campaigns and digital experiences for a mix of clients, taking ideas from initial concepts through to the finished thing. You’ll collaborate with our strategy, marketing and development teams, get involved with clients and have a proper say in what we build.
We’re after someone experienced, creative and curious, who’s happy to get stuck into the thinking, problem-solving and details behind great digital design.

From Rebrand to Reality
New brand? Check. New digital home? Also check.
We helped Overgate Hospice bring its new identity to life online with a microsite supporting the launch of its new £15m wing, which opened its doors back in August.
Built to help amplify the work happening at Overgate Hospice, the site brings the new brand to life online and helps more people discover the incredible work the hospice does.
A lovely project to be part of, and one we hope helps Overgate continue to thrive.

A big milestone for Umbraco.
Umbraco has officially become a certified B Corporation, recognising the work happening across the business, from governance and fair work to community, human rights and climate.
We’ve been working with Umbraco for years, so we’ve had a front-row seat to the platform, the people behind it and the community that’s grown around it.

Last year we worked with Dudley Building Society to create an online tool that helps mortgage brokers quickly pre-qualify potential customers.
By bringing together key financial information, it provides an early indication of whether a Dudley mortgage could be suitable and affordable - making the process quicker and easier for brokers and their customers.
It’s a great example of the kind of work we love to build at Pixelbuilders: taking a complex process and turning it into a simple, intuitive experience that empowers people to make informed decisions, faster. 💻

What do you do to celebrate 40 years of Martin Oates?
Notorious for great shirts, and a beard any indie band member would envy, there was only one thing to do…
Become Martin.
So, to surprise him for his birthday, the Pixelbuilders team dusted off the loudest shirts they could find, stuck on some questionable facial hair and committed to the look.
All jokes aside, Martin has played a huge part in shaping Pixelbuilders into the business it is today, and we couldn’t let such a milestone go by without celebrating the man behind it.

POV: you get your nails done but forget you’re a social media manager.
Everything was going great. The shot was looking good. The content was contenting.
Then we spotted it. Cue the Jaws theme. 🦈
Rest assured, no content was harmed and a new shot was filmed, but we thought this take was too funny to retire just yet.

AI is giving us plenty to think about at the moment.
So, naturally, we’re sending Martin, our Technical Director, to the Greenhouse AI show ‘n’ tell in Leeds to see how other businesses are using AI.
These sessions have become a regular fixture in Martin’s calendar and a great opportunity to swap ideas, pick up a few useful tricks and generally get stuck into the conversation.
At Pixelbuilders, we’re exploring where AI can bring something genuinely useful to the digital projects we work on. So, we’re looking forward to seeing what’s working, what’s worth trying and what might spark inspiration.
