One of my goals this Pride Month is to discover more q***r books beyond the ones I already know and love.
So throughout June, I’ll be joining ’s Write with Pride events, including their themed Book Clubs, and using it as an opportunity to find new authors, new stories and books that might not have crossed my radar otherwise.
These are four books that have already made it onto my Pride reading list, and honestly, I hadn’t heard of some of them before getting involved with this project.
If you’re also looking to expand your reading horizons this month, I’d love to know: what’s a q***r book you think more people should be talking about?
How many pages can i read… AT THE GYM?! 👀💫 I’ve gotten myself into a lovely exercise routine that I am proud of so wanted to share with you how many pages I get through during a gym routine listening to my audiobook! 📚🥹

How much can a slow reader actually read in 1 hour? Let’s find out! 🥹💫 It is VERY rare that I’m actually able to read on public transport! Usually, I get really bad motion sickness but today I was feeling good. The train was empty, the sun was out, the views were gorgeous and this book is wonderful. 📚🌷

Hello to all the new faces who’ve found their way here recently, I thought I’d reintroduce myself.
I’m Kenny, 26, a self-employed social media and influencer marketing consultant by day and a cosy bookish content creator the rest of the time. I live in a leafy suburb of Leeds with my boyfriend Zac, and most of my life now is a mix of reading, travelling around Yorkshire, drinking far too much coffee and turning the books I read into little reflections about life.
My corner of the internet is all about slow living, autumn energy, cosycore moments, and using stories as a way to understand yourself a bit better. I talk about the books I’m loving, the places I’m visiting, the habits I’m learning, and all the loops I’m trying to break along the way.
If you’re into cosy reading, cottagecore travel, creative living and gentle personal commentary, I’m really glad you’re here.
Feel free to say hello in the comments and tell me what you’re reading at the moment.
My first five-star read in three months, and it completely earned it.
If We Were Villains by M. L. Rio has everything I love in a book: dark academia, theatre, friendship, betrayal, and writing that feels both lyrical and devastating.
It’s a story about art and obsession, about how far people will go for the roles they play both on stage and in real life. It’s atmospheric, emotional, and full of tension from the very first page.
Apparently, if you loved The Secret History, this one deserves a spot at the top of your reading list.

Your twenties are strange. You’re old enough to know who you are, but young enough to feel like you’re running out of time to become someone else.
I’ve been collecting quotes from books and essays that perfectly capture that messy middle. The pressure to have it all figured out, the fear that you haven’t lived enough, and the quiet reminder that no one really has it together.
Reading these words feels like taking a deep breath. They remind me that being unsure isn’t failure, it’s part of the story.
