Today's Trek,
Setting off from Ilkley & heading up the Moor towards the Sw****ka stone.
We climbed our way along the Moor before reaching the top & then along the rugged pathways to the Cow & Calf rocks where we had a Bovril stop.
We then returned to our starting point along the winding paths to complete just over 9 miles on a grey but dry day.
Visibility wasn't too great but made for an exhilarating & atmospheric trek.
Great walk, with great company & was nice to have Stephen out on his first walk with us.ππ€
Lunch down in Ilkley at the Black Hat was a welcome treat for us all after working up an appetite π
Clean plates all round π
KEEP ON TREKKING ππ€

MEN IN NEEED TREKKING'S 9TH adventure.
A bit more challenging trek than usual.
Mostly flat but just short of 10 miles
We set off from the Crooked Billet & headed towards the picturesque village of Saxton & on to the historical battlefields of Towton, we walked on then towards Hazelwood castle passing the old quarry where we saw wild deer.
We crossed the horse racing tracks of Hazelwood & carried on to c**k beck before returning to our starting point we paid a visit to St Mary's church.
A great turn out again on a very enjoyable Trek.
