Went on a little adventure yesterday.
I caught three different trains to Manchester to get some food.
Ultimately to get my hands on (my favourite) THE BEST sandwiches ever... Yes that's how much I love them. I went all the way down to Manchester to pick up a take away from Admaioramcr
Yes you may think prices are expensive and this seems a bit extreme for a sandwich, but if you see the size of them, equal to two sandwiches and taste them you'll understand.
The quality of them are exceptional.
On the way down I picked up a doughnut from Gooey, dough was excellent however the raspberry jam... It was dense and I couldn't help but compare to Dohut which was recommend to me by my (at the time) 6 year olds niece!!!
They have changed the menu recently (two weeks ago) they have taken off Inferno and replaced it with Tib which is even better as it has burrata and Haarland is the one I first tried.
When I go down now i get Haarland replace truffle sauce with Balsamic and if you go during the week they have a sandwich and drink offer

Think this is the 5th time I've had mango salad in 9 days!!!
This time instead of my own recipe unused one I saw on IG which was very similar to mine but instead they chopped and caramelised palm sugar in a pan with lime juice and fish sauce.
Honestly... Didn't like it, it had a strong sweet taste, when I added more fish sauce and lime juice to balance it all out it made the vegetables in my salad a little *sweet*
Sticky rice... Took my time, soaked it in boiling water twice over a 30 min soak. Then i steamed it dry without added water. Wrapped in clingfilm ready to serve.
The grilled pork, is pork fillet sliced thickly marinaded in my pork jerky recipe over night and grilled.

Have you ever been to that one place you want to shout about on the top of your lungs?
Well this is that place!
Randomly came up on Google maps.
It's not exactly a restaurant, you enter the shop.and it's like a fish display.
You tell them what you want and go upstairs to find a table.
There is no service.
We got a medium seabream to share between the two of us.
It came with two rice, salad and a nan bread.
Cooked to perfection, slight moist and a crispy scaled skin
With two drink I believe he said £17 😳😳😳
The menu is basic and the price is written on the board
They have carp, seabream, seabass and salmon which varied between £15-25
Skewer of prawns with rice and salad I think £10(?)
When we went to pay the young lad got the card machines out and I said cash. He was shocked I said cash. He was very friendly and asked if it was our first visit and we said yes, he made small talk and thanked us for coming and appreciating their food.
This was an absolutely fantastic find!!!
And certainly one to shout about and share with you.
So if you want small businesses to survive and keep their prices low please pay cash.
