A long pub gig today - played for an hour from 1230 while the folks had lunch, then compered the quiz, called the bingo(!), then played for another hour or so. A good time was had by all I think.
RIP Steve Cropper. He and James Burton wrote the book.

This is what I do...
After I finished playing my gig tonight, a lady came up and thanked me, saying “you played the songs of my life”. I was touched by that, and very grateful for such a nice response.
