It's has been a while since you have heard anything from me…I haven’t been able to do any sessions due to lockdown, and to ensure everyone’s safety.

So my camera had an unexpected 'holiday', but I did not!

In fact, I took this as an opportunity to create something new…I’m happy to announce the launch of Luart Studio’s website!

I have spent all my time building the website to create a space where you can find all our information in one place!

What is Christmas?

It is when you more than ever focus on what is the most important in life. If not, then is the best time to start thinking about it.

It is the quality time with your loved ones. Lots of hugs, kisses and laughter. Sometimes tears can come by even out of joy and excitement or sadness and frustration. But that's ok, while you with those who care you the most. If not, wishing them the best from all your heart is the right time, isn't that?

Welcome to Luart Studio,

My name is Virginija Paltanaviciene and I am the founder and principal photographer. It is my true belief that photography takes me on a journey. The journey starts when I can feel what I am seeing, and I can see what I am feeling. For me, the best form of art for expressing this to the world is photography. Luart is derived from the word’s luminosity and art. Light touches everything. Even the darkest of stories hold a glimmer of light. Most important of all, everyone on earth has a story worthy of being told and every story can be captured and preserved in time.

My own story began in a beautiful country, Lithuania, where I was born. I took my first shots with a Canon camera at age of 15. Seven years later I brought my camera with me to my new home in West Yorkshire, England. It felt like the first time that I used my camera all over again, although the scenery I was looking at was new and different. In this moment I realised that I had a void in my life that only photography could fill. From this moment forward, photography has become my true passion. It has brought such beautiful meaning to my life and has taught me about self-reflection, which allows me to look at the world differently. I am now able to observe the world from new and different angles and viewpoints and I can experience the best of it.

I was extremely proud when I was awarded a Diploma in Professional Photography by The Photography Institute. I endeavour to continue my success throughout my professional photography career.

My photography style covers portraits, people and lifestyle. I love documentary photography and storytelling. I find fine art photography genres inspirational. I am open minded and willing to photograph unique ideas, experiment and even collaborate with other artists and photographers.
