Aka, me and my wife Natalie 🤣

Yes it’s mostly me, Jonny, running the stories and posts here, although Natalie will pop in with her staging stories and some more reels in future

Natalie the design queen and spreadsheet creator, she’s the reason the properties look as good as they do and fetch the nightly rate she proposes.

Me? I’m the gobsh*te that likes the sound of his own voice 🤣 so I talk, present, manage guests, management and all things day to day operationally.

2 years later…

Same spot, same property, over £230,000 worth of bookings since.

We started renting this property from the landlord in April 2024 and this was the beginning of Yorkshire wellbeing escapes

Thanks to the learnings and experience from this property, we’ve opened several more units and are just about to complete on our biggest refurb project yet.

2026 has been so full on already I completely forgot to share project Carlisle 2 to the grid

We turned an outdated and wrecked 4 bed HMO to a luxury 4 bed Airbnb perfect for contractors

Smart TVs and double beds in each room

Large communal spaces with new plaster, paint and heating system

Cosy, quality, affordable stays for contractors in the area

And we’ve already had a direct 1 year booking

Now that’s what we call a win 🏆

Had a great time last Wednesday at Rudy’s pizza in Leeds with the Leeds property investor network social group at our yearly Christmas Do.

Attending Leeds pin every month has been key to our success in property and I love the fact we have a monthly social meet up too

I mean all we end up doing is talking about property 🤣 but at least with some beers and pizza we can all laugh about all the difficulties we regularly face

Property is tough and can be lonely, so socialising and networking really is key to making it work
