Today I met our eco survey provider who’s going to calculate how much insulation we need and exactly what solar panels and heat pump we need
He’ll also apply for grants and sort the right product for us all the way through to installation
Our main refurb team start Monday, they reckon they can finish the job in 3-4 months

How much profit we made in July at our Kilnsey rent to rent
Due to longer average stays and therefore lower cleaning and linen costs (plus no hot tub maintenance) we ended up making 2x the profit.
A focus is always longer stays, however, this is always market and guest dependent and you want to balance having minimum stay lengths that don’t prevent you getting bookings in the first place.
As this property has a fixed bedroom configuration, with 2 doubles, 2 singles and a bunk, it lends itself naturally to multi generational families or multiple families, who naturally stay longer

It’s about time and financial freedom to let us live our best lives and have assets that work for us without our needing to be there
It’s a long game, we’ve been at this since 2021,
