Today we lose a huge asset to Manto - Matt Rolfe also known as Rolfey 🥲

Matt joined us nearly 8 years ago and has seen Manto change a lot over the years, growing a huge part of the culture Manto is known for today.

From flying to North Carolina in his first week, to his DoP debut, to being able to solve literally any problem thrown at him, Matt was always a safe pair of hands both on set and in front of an edit.

We'll sorely miss your endless wisdom and badly timed dad jokes - good luck in Belfast Rolfey, come back and visit!

On a drizzly wet Saturday at the beginning of May, a team of walkers raising money for , set out on an expedition of walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks - a total of 24 miles.

Harvey, one of our video producers, went along for the ride, capturing the whole challenge, striding up the peaks with the rest of the team, all while carrying approx 14kg of gear along with him!

It was great to network with other parts of the industry and celebrate women's achievements in the creative media space over a glass of wine! 🎉⁠

All that being said, a recent study discovered that if we continue at the current rate of progress, a 50% gender split won't be achieved until 2085 in the UK... So we all have some work to do before then!⁠

We have a very exciting new member of the Manto team to introduce to you: Sophie who joins us as our Studio Manager. 🎬

Sophie’s going to be taking the reins of our production slate; overseeing the delivery of projects, managing the team’s workload and production managing our larger-scale projects. ⚡

Sophie brings a wealth of client-side experience having worked at household name brands such as Warburtons and, most recently, Arla (and although cheese is one of the team’s great loves we didn’t only hire her because of her extensive cheese-related experience). 🧀

Bringing Sophie in is a big move for us in ensuring we’re working as effectively as possible, and helping us to be the best possible partners for our clients.

Last year, we received an exciting project from How Stean Gorge, specialising in outdoor adventures, located in North Yorkshire. 🏞️ Our task was to produce a series of videos for their website.

Following 3 days of filming, the client now has a bank of footage to utilise throughout the year for their social content.
