Snowman Rally 2026✅

Great to be back out in the Scooby after an absent 2025! A tough day at the office with the baltic weather resulting in some challenging conditions, the worst of which found in the Millbuie Ice rink🧊

Happy enough with the pace and feeling on the first loop we were looking to push on for the remainder of the day! This was first hampered by the ice in Millbuie with a few - luckily not so deep - ditch visits, and then 3rd Gear deciding it’d taken enough abuse around the half way point and giving way!

Against my better judgment we went back out for the last 2 stages hoping the parts of 3rd that’d gone walkies wouldn’t interfere any more! Other than a couple of crunches into 4th we managed round without losing too much time on the loop to finish 17th overall and first Subaru Cup🏆

Big thanks to Simon with a stellar job on the difficult side of the car! Faultless all day!

And cheers to the boys in service for putting up with the usual vehicular battery!

Great day at the Snowman Rally last weekend! Cheers to the organisers and Marshalls for running another great event! Buzzing for next years already

18th Overall and the class win 🏆 Not bad for a day of taking it easy after getting the car straightened after the Argylls excursion. Some shift from the boys to get it back in one piece whilst I was skiving in the middle of the North Sea. Much appreciated 🫡

Cheers to Chris for sitting in with me. Grand effort for a day battling car sickness every stage!
