The Heigner saphir. Probably the most resilient A5 clipper out there.

I’ve kept many going for over nine years, including this one, which is about to get a new case fitted.

At this point, they become a bit of a Triggers broom (Only fools and horses skit, see YouTube video below). This video always makes me chuckle.

Don’t think I’ll be going anywhere for the next couple of days if this snow doesn’t get cleared.

As my energy and motivation slowly returns, it’s time for a workshop refresh, starting with the old dull brown cupboards. They’ve been in this workshop for about 20 + years. Time for some new colours and space utilisation .

It's that time of year again. The garden needs trimmed, plants and hedges need pruned, leaves need blown and brushed up. There is something quite pleasing and calming about September and the onset of Autumn.

I think it’s time to replace the filter in my workshop air cleaner. Sharpening generates a lot of dust.

It seems I like vibrant colours. My blade guides, diy notebook and fountain pen, all vivid colouring. I wonder if that says anything about me ?

I don’t sharpen 24 x7, I make stuff as well. This weekend’s project is a new router table. And inevitably I will need to sharpen these router bits, so maybe I do sharpen 24 x7 !
