The Ripponden in Bloom Weeding Team smashed it today on Rochdale Road!

Ripponden in Bloom had some help this week from the Rainbows and Guides! The Rainbows had fun weeding and planting next to St Bart’s Church. The Guides did some balsam bashing in the church graveyard and litter picking in Mill Fold Park. Thanks to Tina Bower for organising!

We have finally completed our work on the new planter on the corner of Royd lane. We were able to carry out this work thanks to a kind donation by the Stone Roses ladies group.
We are a group of volunteers whose mission is to make a difference to the village for us all to enjoy.

Really important for Ripponden in bloom to be able to support the local community.Yesterday evening a couple of our members were with the 3rd Ripponden cub group clearing balsam in St Barts and litter picking in Millfold (4 bags filled). Great to see young people enthusiastic about doing something for the village they live in

A good turn out today despite the poor weather. A little bit of weeding and tidying to keep the village looking nice.
