“They really know their stuff. Lots of information, but put really simply.”

Thanks, Tom, for the brilliant review!

That’s exactly what we aim for at TGR Performance Hub — using the latest technology and data to help golfers understand their game without overcomplicating things.

More information is only useful if you know what to do with it. Our job is to make the data simple, understandable and actionable.

Golf is different out on the course. ⛳

In our swing room, we have all the tools and technology to pinpoint exactly where the issues are happening in your swing.

But we all know that golf doesn’t happen in a studio.

That’s why we offer on-course lessons too — giving us the opportunity to see your game in a real playing environment, pick up those extra details and understand what happens when there’s a target, a lie, hazards and a scorecard in front of you.

Because ultimately, it’s about one thing:

Performing better on the course, not just in the studio.

Autumn is well and truly upon us. 🍂

And that means it’s time to start thinking about that first tee shot of 2027.

The winter is a great opportunity to work on the areas of your game that could make the biggest difference next season.

Not sure where you can improve? We can help identify the areas holding your game back.

Know exactly where you need to improve, but not sure how to go about it? We can help with that too.

Whether it’s speed, consistency, technique, fitness or performance, let’s use the winter to build a plan around your game and your goals.

Want to start 2027 playing better golf? Drop us a message.

Smash Factor: What does it actually mean?

You’ll often hear golfers and coaches talk about smash factor when looking at launch monitor data — but what exactly is it?

Simply put, smash factor measures how efficiently you transfer energy from the clubhead into the golf ball.

It’s calculated by dividing ball speed by clubhead speed.

For example, if your driver clubhead speed is 100mph and your ball speed is 145mph, your smash factor is 1.45.

A higher smash factor generally means you’re getting more ball speed from the same amount of clubhead speed — often a sign of a more efficient strike.

But it’s not simply about trying to chase the highest number possible. Strike quality, impact location, launch, spin and delivery all work together to determine how efficiently you hit the ball.

That’s why launch monitor data can be so useful: it helps us understand why you’re getting the results you are, rather than just looking at how far the ball went.

Want to know what your numbers are telling you?

⭐ We love hearing how people find their experience at TGR Performance Hub — and Michael’s recent feedback really captures what we’re all about.

“Good instruction without making you feel uncomfortable. Positive encouragement, so a good experience.”

For us, great coaching isn’t just about improving your performance. It’s about creating an environment where you feel comfortable, supported and confident to learn.

Whether you’re looking to develop your game, build confidence or simply enjoy your practice more, we’re here to help. 🏌️‍♂️

Thanks for the kind words, Michael! 👏

Play golf. As much as you can. Learn as much as you can.

Try new courses. Take on new challenges. Work on your swing. Learn a new skill. Take a lesson. Play with new people. Discover new ways to enjoy the game.

Remember, there’s always more to learn and another level to reach. Don’t play the same game over and over again — keep improving. ⛳
