This week some of the Exeter Innovation team headed to Madrid for the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN) Conference. The team were invited to deliver various presentations on entrepreneurship education, impact and innovation ecosystems and we heard from some amazing speaker from around the world. Lots of inspiration, lots of new ideas bubbling away and new collaborations in the pipeline.

🏆 ELEVATE Engineers in Business winners 🏆

Exeter's ELEVATE Engineers in Business competition saw 11 dynamic teams of engineering and computer science students present their innovations to our esteemed panel of judges.

Congratulations to the winners:

1st place: Eleanor Griffin (Opas Guides)
2nd place: Ella Dodson and Jack Burbridge (MediTeddys)
3rd place: Jack McGwyne (BOOMFA)
4th place: Adam Brookes (Stocki)
5th place: Deepak Jha (Optex Solutions)
6th place: Lorenzo Satta Chiris (HealthXplain)

All winners won a share of the prize pot and have the opportunity to pitch at the national finals in London later in the year.
