After having to cancel our Westward Ho! event earlier this year, we’ve been working behind the scenes to make it up to you... and we’re thrilled to announce a brand-new Living Well with Sight Loss event in Barnstaple!

Join us at the Roundswell Community Centre to meet the Devon in Sight team, connect with others, and get expert advice on living with sight loss. We’ll be joined by a host of fantastic exhibitors including Optelec, HumanWare, Age UK Devon, SpaMedica, Thomas Pocklington Trust, and many more. We will be sharing a full list of exhibitors soon, so watch this space 🤩

RNIB have shared their tips on how to watch the eclipse safely 👏🏼💛

We were delighted to be part of the fun at yesterday’s Babbacombe Fayre.

Mandy, our Community Engagement and Fundraising Officer, together with her support worker Fiona and two of our clients, Geoff and Steve; spent the day chatting with fayre-goers about the support and services available to people living with sight loss.

It was wonderful to hear personal stories from people who have already benefitted from Devon in Sight’s support, as well as sharing information about how we can continue to help others navigate the challenges that sight loss can bring 💙

And with another gloriously sunny day, our Devon in Sight sun hats were definitely the accessory of the day! 😎☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, shared their stories and showed their support. We loved meeting you all!
