Latest news from photographer James Millar It's been a great couple of months, the year started off on an artistic retreat in Sri Lanka, and since returning I've packed in some fascinating photographic jobs, expanded my work teaching, with new courses due this year, and got my hands dirty making tintypes. 

When taking a group picture, try an elevated vantage point to achieve even lighting and a more interesting composition.

James now runs a media business specialising in public relations, photography and copy writing and works with a number of clients in the South West.

Richard Lappas has worked for the national titles, TV, radio and magazines, and has run his own news and picture agency for the past 25 years and has recently become an Associate Lecturer in Media at Exeter College. He has considerable experience in all aspects of media coverage and has worked with people from all walks of life.
