A building warrant is usually required for garage conversions in Scotland, as the work involves changes to insulation, structure, electrics and fire safety.

The warrant process ensures the conversion meets current building standards and is signed off on completion.

This detached garage was already being used as a home gym, but the space simply wasn't working. Cold, uninsulated and unfinished, it wasn't somewhere our client enjoyed spending time.
