Today we say goodbye to our optometrist and director, Neil. He is pursuing a new venture in another part of the country, and we all wish him the very best! 🍀

Our resident optometrist Tracey is picking up an extra day to cover some of Neil’s clinics. Many of you will know Tracey, who has been providing expert care with us for the past few years. She looks forward to welcoming Neil’s patients.

We were delighted to welcome the President of ABDO, Brenda Rennie, to Crystal Optometry to celebrate 100 years of Dispensing Opticians! 👏
Brenda was appointed President during this centenary year for the Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO), of which our team members, Karla and Fran, are both proud members. Karla had the chance to speak with Brenda about her studies as a Student Dispensing Optician and what inspired her to join the profession.
ABDO has spent the last 100 years raising the standards of what opticians can do. Because of their rigorous training and dedication, our dispensing team can masterfully handle complex lenses, repairs and adjustments, paediatric and specialist dispensing, and low vision support.
