Our nearby friends at Corstorphine Community Centre have two more youth club sessions running on Thursday afternoons. Head along to the building today and next week at 4:30pm.

Next week we're back to school and what better way to impress your new teacher than with your medal and certificate for completing the ?
We've had over 100 children sign up, but there are lots of stickers and prizes still to be claimed. Bring your booklet with your completed goals and books read on your next visit to the library and we can collect what you've earned!

Our previous harvest was just small potatoes, but we have another crop of larger spuds ready to go!
Come in and collect a small bag in the next few days, give them a good wash, and they're ready to cook.

We have received our delivery of Adult Education brochures for the new term starting after the summer. Feel free to come and collect one from in front of the library desk.

Unfortunately our visiting zookeeper is sick today and will be unable to run Zoo Tails. Today's session is sadly cancelled, but please join us for the next one on Wednesday 2nd September.

There's still a few tickets left for our Storytelling session with Danyah Miller today. She is at Drumbrae right now and they've been wowed already!
Come along and join in for free, but it would be great if you can sign up in advance on Eventbrite.
We are very happy to release the last of our special summer events to help you : "Once Upon a... What?" with award-winning storyteller Danyah Miller.
Using games, sound, movement and a very opinionated magic carpet, we need lots of families along to craft an exciting story with her!
This will be on Thursday 4th August at 2:30pm, for around an hour.

It's the last full week of the summer holidays, and we've got a few more special events on for you.
We're super excited to host Danyah Miller for an amazing storytelling session on Tuesday afternoon. Come in and help inspire some truly great tales with her and a magic carpet!
This is best for ages 4-7 but older and younger children can definitely still enjoy it, as can the whole family!

On Wednesday at 3:30pm, join Kali from Edinburgh Zoo for a story, lots of facts, and a fun activity all related to sloths and armadillos.
Join us for our Library Afternoon Tea at 2:30pm on Friday. We will be talking about books, colouring in, and enjoying a warm drink, juice and some snacks.
Just like every Saturday, we have Junior Board Games on at 2pm. Discover a new game or play an old favourite with your family, other library users, and maybe a member of staff!
We also have Bookbug on for your wee ones, including our fortnightly Saturday session. Tuesday and Saturday are at 11am, Wednesday is at 2pm.

We were very lucky to have Befana and Midnight visit the library and run a superb session all about foraged herbs and their properties, and an opportunity to drink our own brewed potions.
If you want the opportunity for more tea, join us for our Library Afternoon Tea at 2:30pm next Friday. We will be talking books, colouring in, and enjoying a warm drink, juice and some snacks.
If you missed the Magical Tea Trolley session yesterday, it will make an appearance on Monday 3rd August at Stockbridge Library. Call them on 0131 529 5665 to book your place.

Look out for Drumbrae Library’s Family Fun Day tomorrow from 10am! There are lots of fun things to do including workshops with Stina Sparkles, a performance by Jed and Jo’s Acoustic Music, craft and refreshments.
Everything is totally free with no need to book, just bring your family along for a great time.
It's our Family Fun Day this Saturday!
Come along and join us for circus skills, balloon modelling, face painting, live entertainment, craft and refreshments.
We also have our regular Bookbug session at 10:30am.
