Why, it's the sound of Porty's youngsters getting their on and creating amazing things at !

Come along at 2pm to take part, but remember, it's gonna be noisy!! ❤

Come along this afternoon for from 1-2pm if you have any policing questions for one of our local officers and have a cuppa at the same time.

Please be aware that this drop-in is subject to operational requirements and may be cancelled at short notice should a police presence be required elsewhere locally, in an emergency dial 999, or 101 at other times.

This is your weekly reminder about our brilliant "Bring, Make & Do!" sessions, every Friday morning from 10.30 until Noon!

So, If you fancy a knit and a natter or even a bit of crafting over a coffee, bring your own projects down and craft in comfort in the library with lovely like-minded creative folk! ❤

Another scorcher of a day down at the library today as the heatwave continues and while the numbers were fewer than usual, we still had a healthy cohort of courageous canine brave the heat and drop by to make things cooler (If one could call eight cool canines a cohort?)

So, joining us, in no particular order as usual, were... Duncan, Ruby, Bear, Kitty, Luke, Lily, Quinn and, last but seldom least and returning after a two-week hiatus, !

We'd like to say he was off on some globetrotting adventures, wooing beautiful lady dogs, sampling fine cuisine and changing the course of history but he spent a fair amount of the time sleeping, quite a bit napping and the rest snoozing, so basically living the life we'd all love to lead!! ❤

ACE IT Scotland holds a FREE weekly IT help session here at Portobello Library every Thursday afternoon from 2pm-4pm.

Attendance is by appointment only but simply call 0131 667 2053 now to register your interest and book your free help session today!

Bring your well-behaved & on-lead dogs along at any time between 10am-5pm for treats, general pats on the head and untamed adoration.

Councillor Jane Meagher (Scottish Labour) holds her constituency surgery weekly here at Portobello Library every Wednesday evening from 7pm. (except during School & Public Holidays)

The S1+ Youth Group is now in it's new temporary home up at Northfield & Willowbrae Community Centre and it's on this evening (Tuesday 26th May) from 7pm-8.30pm!

The P6-S1 Youth Group is on tonight (Tuesday 26th May) here in it's new temporary home at Portobello Library, It's still FREE, begins at 5pm and promises to be just as fun albeit in a slightly different venue!
