We had a great time at the Video Games Club last night!

Our next one is on Tuesday 26th May for ages 10+ @ 5.30pm-7.30pm.

We have games for both the PS5 and Nintendo Switch with 30-minute booking slots available on the day.

You need to be a library member to play, which is free!

Under 16s will need a parent/guardian to complete the application form. Ask a staff member for more details!

BOOKBUG WEEK: Bookbug's Big Quest!

Come along to one of our Bookbug sessions this week to celebrate Bookbug Week! We run weekly Bookbug sessions at 11am on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 2pm on Fridays.

You can also celebrate Bookbug Week with our Bird Bingo activity! This year's theme is Bookbug's Big Quest and we're sending you on a birdwatching adventure! Spend some time outside looking at all the different birds and bring your card back in for a certificate!

We had so much fun visiting the National Library of Scotland in April with our Knit & Natter and Crochet Club groups! Blankets both clubs made were a part of their Love Libraries exhibition!

Stop by the library for a Bird Bingo card! It will guide you through some birdwatching along the canal and around town. Once you've found as many as you can (don't worry if you can't find all of them), turn your Bingo card in to get an "Official Birdwatcher" certificate and check out a book all about birds! All ages can participate. Thank you to Grant, an RSPB local group volunteer, for creating the Bingo cards!

There is still time to sign up for our special bird event on tomorrow 08/05. We will have a fantastic talk led by an RSPB volunteer followed by a guided bird watch 🦆🪿 We also have our bird bingo available for collection from the front desk if you want to take part in some of the bird festivities.
