Remembrance 2025

Across Scotland’s towns and villages, the Royal British Legion Scotland Riders Branch continues to uphold a powerful tradition of remembrance. With leather jackets proudly displaying regimental insignias and Legion crests, these motorcyclists form a moving tribute to those who served and sacrificed. Whether gathered at a city square beneath a solemn statue or standing before a rural war memorial etched with the names of the fallen, their presence is both striking and deeply respectful.
The Rider’s Branch doesn’t just attend remembrance events — they embody them. Each ride is a pilgrimage; each stop a moment of reflection. In one image, the group stands united before a towering statue, wreath in hand, surrounded by motorcycles that have carried them across miles of Scottish landscape. In another, they gather at a stone monument commemorating the Second World War, their attire blending biker culture with military heritage. Berets, medals, and patches speak to personal histories and shared purpose.
These riders are more than participants; they are custodians of memory. Their journeys connect communities, honour regimental legacies, and ensure that remembrance remains visible and vibrant. From the Highlands to the Lowlands, their wheels turn not just for the thrill of the ride, but for the enduring promise Their motorcycles may roar into town, but their message is one of peace, honour, and remembrance. As they ride through Scotland’s rugged landscapes, they carry with them the memory of those who served—and the promise that their legacy will endure.
: We will remember them.
