Here is a video I worked on with a client in October to try give potatoes some of the limelight when it comes to “go-to” carbohydrate sources- particularly in the fitness industry. This was all filmed in one day near Chirnside, Scottish Borders. I wanted to attempt a Netflix’s Chefs Table style to the video, especially the outro. A couple of years ago I would have said that documentary style films are boring, but now I realise that you can still be creative with them and have fun.

Always on the look out for cool compositions 🎥

Colour plays a huge role in how footage can end up looking when delivered. Often when I show clients clips in camera while on location, they'll just see the flat looking one (bottom). Through colour grading we can bring the clip slowly back and add whatever look or feel to it you like - cold, warm, action/drama/horror 🎞️🎥
