Meet Louis who belongs to our Vet, Jen 🐾

📅 Louis is 4 years old (that’s around 32 in cat years!)

🧀 His favourite snack is Dreamies.

🧸 Louis’ favourite toy is triangles made out of crisp packets!

🐭 His favourite thing to do is sleep, then hunt, then sleep more!

👀 Louis’ naughtiest habit is hunting baby birds 🤦🏻‍♀️

💡 A little fact about Louis - he had his lower canine teeth removed before Jen adopted him as he has a very bad overbite & they were traumatising his mouth!

🐾 Scrufts Cancellation Notice 🐾

Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel today’s Scrufts Dog Show due to the weather.

After consulting our four-legged competitors, the overwhelming consensus was that wet paws, soggy fur, and rain-soaked zoomies were simply unacceptable working conditions!

We apologise for the disappointment, hopefully next year the weather will be more suited to strutting, sniffing, and showing off.

Thank you for your understanding — stay dry and give your dogs an extra treat from us! 🦴☔

🐾🎉 Scrufts is Here! 🎉🐾

As part of Davidson's Mains Children's Gala Week, we’re super excited for Scrufts Dog Show this evening & can’t wait to see as many of our local dogs as possible taking part! 🐶

Our very own Jen & Catherine will be there & are looking forward to meeting all of the fabulous four-legged entrants.

Jen is especially excited to be judging the Best Trick competition & can’t wait to see what impressive talents your dogs have been practising! 🦴🎾✨

Whether your dog is competing or just coming along to soak up the atmosphere, we hope to see lots of familiar faces & wagging tails tonight 🐕🐾

Annie was in recently for her 6 monthly health check with our senior nurse, Jess 🥰

We’re delighted to say she was given a clean bill of health! She also thoroughly enjoyed her little photoshoot - especially with a few gravy bones on offer as bribes 🦴📸

She’s such a lovely girl 💕

Did you know that dogs can also be blood donors? 🐶

Just like humans, dogs sometimes need lifesaving blood transfusions & the only source of that blood is other dogs!

We rely on donated blood to carry out lifesaving treatments. Without donor dogs, many of the procedures we perform simply wouldn’t be possible ❤️‍🩹

That’s why we’re proud to support Pet Blood Bank UK, the only charity in the UK that provides a blood bank service for dogs 🙏
