Our Easy Read team are happy to support Scottish Learning Disability Week 2026.

We know that many people with a learning disability use and prefer Easy Read information. This includes members of Disability Equality Scotland.

In the picture below you can see our Easy Read team's pledge to keep listening to and working with our Easy Read user feedback group.

Our Easy Read team and the Easy Read user feedback group are an important part of the UK Easy Read Standards Working Group. For the past 2 years, this group has been working together to create a guide to writing Easy Read well.

The group will share their work with the public at an online event on Tuesday 1 October. You can find out more, and sign up for the event, using this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/gMAHyvq1TxeRlbbtXYdPIA
