We are looking for someone who is eager to develop their commercial awareness and really add value to TPP’s UK and international opportunities. You will be responsible for researching the legal and commercial landscape of new markets both in the UK and abroad, identifying and communicating risks of those opportunities and establishing corporate structures to deliver the business. You will also be involved in preparing bids for new contracts, including national frameworks and high value contracts.

As well as working on new opportunities you will be responsible for reviewing company policies to make sure they stay relevant and will also manage contract performance to ensure the company is meeting customer expectations. You will frequently conduct meetings with key stakeholders to negotiate contract terms and variations and subsequently lead on the delivery of those agreements, working closely with all teams within the company.

No previous experience is required and training is on-the-job, but you will require an eye for detail and excellent communication skills.

Activities Fair

Visit our booth at the activities fair in Bristo Square to learn more about us and our SIGs. Note that it may be busy and that 11:00 to 12:00 is a quiet hour for those who prefer it less hectic.

Tuesday 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Appleton Tower floor 4:
Game Night

A social in Appleton Tower for prospective members to game together and get to know each other, in collaboration with GameSoc. Consoles will be provided along with the available projectors in AT.

Wednesday 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, in front of Appleton Tower: Arthur's Seat Hike

We'll be leading a hike up Arthur's Seat! Get to know your fellow computer scientists and enjoy the best views of the city from the summit of an ancient volcano.

Thursday 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Appleton Tower floor 6: GameMaker Workshop

A workshop in Appleton Tower to show that gamedev is at your fingertips! Learn the basics of using GameMaker and create your first simple game!

Friday 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, in front of Appleton Tower: Scavenger Hunt

Prepare for an exciting afternoon of scavenger hunting! You will be placed in small groups and take pictures around the city in the first round. Another group will then have to recreate your photos. Meeting Point - In front of Appleton Tower.

IMPORTANT: the time has been changed from 13:00 to 11:30.

AGM 2022 - Call for manifestos - CompSoc Edinburgh 16/03/2022

Guess what time of the year it is? That's right, it's our Annual General Meeting time! 🎉

We'll be electing a new committee for the 22-23 year, at our in-person event featuring the current committee. This is a wonderful chance to become part of Scotland's biggest and best tech society! Time and place for the AGM will be announced in due course.
