Well that is all our entries in for the RDA National Championships at Hartpury College in July!

We are so excited to be taking 8 riders - Brodie, Ellen, Molly, Dakota, Lexi, Neve, Kayla and Sophie - along with Ernie and Ben for weekend down south. We will also be supporting 2 riders from Muirfield - Helena and Eilidh - by allowing them to share our ponies they get to share in the amazing experience!

We are so excited and cannot wait for our trip!

We are so excited to be sharing our trip to the National Championships with our friends at Muirfield Riding Therapy!

It’s so nice to be able to support other groups in our region at these big events as they would support us

Let us introduce you to Cicely Young and the wonderful Ernie from the Drum RDA.

Cicely along with Ernie and Ben are making the trip to the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) National Championships this year and are providing that for our MRT participants!

Coaches Caroline and Cicely have been working together to plot participant and pony combinations to support those travelling to the Nationals from both centres.

Participant Helena will be competing in her grade 7 walk only test with Ernie whilst Kat and Eilidh will be showcasing their moves on Ben!

We are truly grateful for the support of our Drum colleagues!

Macduff is a bit of a worrier but we have been quietly working away with him to make him a brave and today he set out on his first solo hack round the estate with Cicely!

Sometimes progress doesn’t look like a big thing but this was a massive step for this little pony who hasn’t hacked on his own for a good few years! Good boy Macduff!

We managed to get out and about a bit today and dodge those horrible rain showers 🌧️🌧️

We are celebrating Volunteers Weeks 2026 all week and we have been asking volunteers to share with us their favourite RDA memories or the reasons that they love coming along and here is what one had to say -

All the ponies are so wonderful, but a special shout out must go to Watson, who is very willing to give you his hooves, and Alfie, who has dragged me up a banking and trotted around the car park laughing at me!
