ApparelXchange CIC are finding new ways to make sure good-quality children’s clothes keep being used, shared and passed on to families who need them.

They’re helping families access good-quality children’s clothes through a model built around sharing, reuse and keeping clothes in circulation for longer. However, they are taking what they’ve learned and helping others build on it, so the idea can travel beyond one organisation or one community.

For Fair Feast, it’s about turning a problem into an opportunity: using locally sourced venison that might otherwise go to waste into donations for food banks and community larders.

Since launching, Fair Feast has donated 2.7 tonnes of venison to communities across Scotland. And now, through its social enterprise butcher shop in Pitlochry, every sale helps fund further food donations.
