DMC hits Holyrood w/ ! 👩🏼✈️🎸
DMC recently nominated one talented musician from the local area to perform at the recent parliamentary reception at the Scottish Parliament.
The celebration hosted by South of Scotland Enterprise, showcased entrepreneurship as well as creativity from the Scottish Borders.
Ra is a young singer songwriter from Dumfries, inspired by the likes of Talking Heads and Lana Del Rey. Her recent album ‘Pretty in Motion’ is a fresh and exciting body of work, which you can listen to now on Spotify or purchase on Bandcamp.
Ra said “There was a warm sense of mutual respect and inspiration exchanged between attendees from different sectors. I left feeling inspired, uplifted and impressed, not only by the individuals I was able to meet, but by the region more broadly.”
