Welcome to The Rabbit Hole. Inspired by their love of French food, Antonello’s Sicilian childhood and his wife’s rural Canadian upbringing.
Opened in October 2015 by Mo Boulay and Antonello Esposito, who with their two children and dog Maggie are themselves based in Marchmont. Having both worked in hospitality for the last twenty years and having sold their city centre restaurant that year, they jumped at the chance to open a neighbourhood eatery in the area they live. Scottish chantarelle!!!
For the past 6 years, our friend Claudette has been supplying us with this great mushrooms, and we have had the pleasure to work with an excellent seasonal and local product.
It is always exciting to come up with recepies and different ways to use chantarelle. So we have decided to share it with you and have a little competition.
Tell us your favourite chantarelle dish.
We will then decide, and the winner gets a £50 voucher!
And remember, simplicity is always the best way to make justice to great produce
