Not to be for the Steelers in Dubai this year as we exit at the semi-final stage of the Plate but it was great being back at the Dubai 7s after nine years!

Big day ahead! We’re in the last eight of the Cup at the Dubai 7s.

A disappointing day with two defeats but we’re through to the Cup quarter-final tomorrow and we’ll play Ireland.

The FOSROC Steelers have beaten Euskarians 35-19 in their opening match of the Dubai 7s. Today’s try scorers were Ross McKnight (2), Anare Tuitai, Kavekini Tabu and Callum Anderson. Fletcher Morgan kicked 5 from 5 conversions.
We’re back in action at 10.20am UK time tomorrow.
