And to round off my birthday weekend a very enjoyable musical gatheing at mine. With snacks!

Having a very joyful birthday weekend- attended two very different crafting workshops with my kids, a musical gathering tomorrow and family dinner on Monday.

I have been making a large pile of leafcutter ants over the last two days to make some larger pieces for the Jardine Gallery & Workshop which recetly moved to YORK. Do drop in and visit it if you are in the neighbourhood. Its a fantastic gallery with hand picked nature art thoughout with a very talented ceramacist at the helm.

Snails on wood of your choice to hang on your wall.

Thank you soooo much Edinburgh Jewellery Repair Ltd for use of your most excellent courtyard this weekend for Colony of Artists !!
All tired out now and ready for an early night.

I am here at Colony of Artists in Edinburgh all weekend! I am exhibiting along with Monchi, ChioneCrafts and JP Ceramics 11-6 both days. We are venue 15 at the Edinburgh Jewellery Repair Ltd .

After a lovely time at Whispering Woods Fayre yestersay I was fantasising about a day off to finally clean the house but actually the kids have an inservice day and i really need to unpack and repack everything from yesterday, air the tent, make some etsy orders and have promised to help them with their halloween costumes later too.

Its a good thing I like my job (and my kids!).

I am also looking forward to Colony of Artists this weekend with Monchi , JP Fort, ChioneCrafts at Edinburgh Jewellery Repair Ltd, an asssortment of brilliant 3d and 2d artists.

Making the rest of the stock for that is on tomorrows to do list!

I am cramming in playing some scandi tunes with pals tonight and some baroque music tomorrow morning too so I am doing something for me.

People sometimes say I should stop some times and just spend some time being although I have no idea how anyone would fit that into the schedule. ;-)
As it is I have sidelined house cleaning, garden sorting and picking and processing the fruit so I am gradually learning to prioritise and realising the world wont 't expolode if I dont get things like that done.
:-)

I was trying to photograph the usual chaos of everything out of my stall box before an event but must have moved the phone as I took it.
I rather like the effect, I thibk it puts across the mindset at this time even more!
Looking forward to Whispering Woods Fayre tomorrow though.
