We’re Hiring: Trainee Data Analytics Assessor

Hybrid (Scotland) | Part-time (up to 28 hrs/week)
Pro rata £25,000 | Modern Apprenticeship (SCQF Level 8)

We’re growing our team and looking for a motivated, organised individual to support learners working towards their Data Analytics qualification.

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate, or someone early in their career, looking to build a future in education, assessment, or the tech sector.

What you’ll do:

- Support and engage learners throughout their journey
- Track progress, manage deadlines and maintain compliance records
- Coordinate sessions with trainers and provide feedback
- Deliver learner support and wellbeing sessions

What we’re looking for:

- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 and Teams
- Interest in data analytics, education or coaching
- Basic knowledge of Python, Excel and SQL (development supported)

What you’ll get:

- Full training, mentoring and structured progression
- Opportunity to gain the SQA L&D9 Assessing Qualification

Now that the dust has settled after MA Week 2026, we’re reflecting on a fantastic event for our team.

Ciaran and Debra recently took part in an informative webinar panel promoting Scottish Apprenticeships. With over 650 attendees, it was a brilliant session that highlighted the growing interest in vocational learning across the country.

Ciaran’s story:
Ciaran initially attended college but quickly realised that traditional learning wasn’t the right fit for him. Joining a Pathways into Apprenticeships programme proved to be a turning point. After starting a Digital Applications course (SCQF Level 6) with Direct Partners, his talent, speed, and willingness to learn stood out, leading to a job opportunity.

Through his Modern Apprenticeship, Ciaran discovered a passion for data and has since completed a second SVQ in Data Analytics (SCQF Level 8). Today, he plays a key role within the business - managing digital systems, improving internal processes, and supporting data-driven decision making. As his confidence has grown, so too have his responsibilities.

Beyond technical skills, one of Ciaran’s biggest developments has been in his communication and self-confidence - positively impacting both his professional and personal life.
