We have been successful in appointing a new DO who will take up post on the 13th of Aug and further information on how we plan to organise the season will follow in due course.
Date for your diaries, Saturday 21st Aug Forrester Rugby Club, will be holding an open day for all age groups, minis through to seniors, and the Wolves have been invited to attend. This will take the form of a training/activities session, final timings to be confirmed.

Hi Guys,
Just want to echo Sponges comments. Boys played really well today and what was even more impressive was the fact that some of the boys were playing their first competitive contact rugby.
As coaches, we at times despair and tear our hair out at training try to put our coaching points across but seeing all the things we do at training finally transferring to game time makes our job that more rewarding. Today, offloading, tackling, rucking, ball presentation and support running were in abundance, all stuff we have been developing at training.
Like to take the opportunity to thank all the coaches for their time and effort over this past season and especially Sponge, Stevie and Jonnie Mac for seeing the season out after the latest lockdown easing. Greatly appreciated guys, Thanks.
Lastly a big thanks to our DO for the past 3 years, unfortunately, Tom is heading to pastures new to take up a playing contract. Over the course of the last 3 years, Toms work has mostly gone unseen, but through his endeavours we (up until Xmas lockdown) had in excess of 70 kids playing rugby and he will be sorely missed amongst the kids at Craigmount where he had a great rapour with them. And am sure he will give us a warm welcome when Wolves Rugby head over to Hong Kong on tour π, good luck Tom.
So , itβs now up to the U16s to emulate the U14s next week at Forrester. U16s get yourself down for a game of rugby and we will give Tom a great send off.
Cheers
Keith
Tom Wilson might be worthwhile bringing a change of clothes ππ

One of our parent clubs, beginning to open up again. Interested in playing contact rugby, touch rugby or just getting fit, why not head along and get involved π
Happy New Year everyone,
As you will be aware, we are into another lockdown, so the bad news is that for the foreseeable future rugby activities for youths aged 12 yrs or above is not permitted
β In line with Scottish Government Guidelines all group rugby activities must stop for people aged 12 and above. Individual, physically distanced, outdoor exercise can continue with no more than two people per 1/4 pitch. Equipment sharing (inc balls) is not permittedβ
Unfortunately, I canβt add anything or put a positive spin on things. We will just have wait and see how this latest lockdown pans out. However, in the mean time folks, stay safe, abide by the rules and hopefully we will come of this crisis, sooner rather than later.

The improvement has been immense.
