Slight delay in reopening today due to a rescheduled Sports Day as the weather was so bad recently.

Any repair I need to order parts for I simply can't guarantee it will be ready in time if there is a delay. All iPhone screens are kept in stock and some Samsung models.

If you need to collect a repaired device please make sure it's done during these hours also.

My 24/7 drop off point will still be available during the week but I will not be looking at your device until next Monday. 🚨

What a difference a year makes!

As long time followers of my page will know, I used to juggle repairs with another full time job.

I'm not ashamed to say it. My place of work was basically my second home for over 20 years, I loved the job and those I worked with were the best bunch of people I could have asked to work with. To say we had the best craic is a huge understatement and that's part and parcel why I kept going with two jobs.

For those who didn't know, I made the plates that went on a newspaper press to print the papers. The irony is the very things I fix are what is killing newspapers! 

Anyway, back to what this post is above. Exactly one year ago today we were all called collectively together to be told we were losing our jobs due to closure. I was devastated.

I had a choice to make, either try and get another job and continue juggling which would have been extremely hard find one that worked as well around repairs or go all in....

All in it was! I love repairing tech, I always have. It's simply in my blood. I certainly hope that shows through on social media activity, I try my best to show how work is completed correctly and you even see me becoming increasingly infuriated at the poor jobs done elsewhere! I try my best to sure you all that Esky Repair is me!

So here we are, 8 months after I lost my job and Esky Repair, that little pet project of mine that started completely via accident is now one of the longest running tech repair companies in the whole of NI. I've been on training courses to offer you even more types of repairs too!

I want to thank each and every one of you who took a chance on me, to each of you who have hit that recommend button online, to each of you that pop my name on that social media post, to anyone who has gave me words of encouragement and also to those who I haven't yet helped out!

Also a quick shout out the those in repair trade themselves who said I could do it even when I had huge self doubt, thank you too.
