Give it a prompt and seconds later you’ve got a logo, colour palette and a paragraph explaining what it all means. Job done.
Except it isn’t.
Good branding isn’t just about making something look nice. It’s about understanding the business, knowing the audience and creating an idea that actually means something.
I use AI. It’s a brilliant tool. But there’s a big difference between using AI and asking it to do the thinking for you.
After 30+ years in design, I still believe the best work starts with a good idea.
Use AI. Just don’t let a prompt become your brand.
