Monday morning (13th April) was also rather good for Louie Wajs! Who on his first attempt passed his test with just the 1 minor driving fault! A great result for a fantastic student! Just like Charlotte, no more lifts, college & football & lots more besides, I'm sure will be taken care of now in his Fiesta!

It's been a busy week! But, on Monday 13th April we had a very pleased Charlotte Towndrow who got up very early to take her test & passed with just a couple of minor driving faults! What made sweeter too was the couple of disappointments in previous weeks. So a very big 'well done' to Charlotte & no more lifts to school for her! Just whether a parking place can be found! I mustn't forget to mention Charlotte's parents for their patient & helpfully hours spent with Charlotte practicing! Also a thumbs up from the Examiner too!

Here is Freya Gilthorpe, who passed her test at the first attempt today! (Tuesday 7th April '26) Yes, there were nerves, but Scott, her Examiner put her at her ease & although Freya had some minor faults, she managed to hold it together for the all important pass! Freya has been a joy to help learn to drive, i must also mention her dad for all the extra sessions that havecertainly helped, too. Now, all that's left is a session on the Mway!

Well, it was a bit of an early start today, Monday 6th April, a Bank Holiday I might add! But it was worth it, especially for Harrison Sainsbury, a handful of faults, but he got the hoped for pass! So pleased to have been able to help him over the finish line!

Yay! Finally Cassia Van Daumen Martins has passed, what a day Fri 13th March '26 turned out to be! Cassia & I certainly have had our ups & downs with lessons & tests, but she's gone & done it now! Could not be more pleased for Cassia!

Yet another in the series of 'why do we bother! So much wrong with this - proximity to the junction, distance from the kerb......! Is it me?

Monday morning 23rd February '26 dawned bright & sunny for a change, great weather for a driving test! Connor Smith thought so & so it turned out to be so too, just 6 driver faults, most of which Connor could kick himself about, but the result stands, a first time pass! Great day, great result! Well done!

Beware! A617 Chesterfield bound, big potholes!! My student & I paid the price! One recently fitted tyre now scrap! So infuriating, car dropped off at Estate Tyres, replacement tyre ordered so hopefully back on the road tomorrow morning. 🤦‍♂️💔💰

Set the alarm for 6am this morning to be with lucas Vaselinov who had his test! What a result, just 1 minor driving fault! A true reflection of Lucas & his driving ability! Really proud of his effort, not just today, but through our lessons & how Lucas took failing, dusted himself down & picked up again, proving what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger! Well done!

So, after a very up & down week, as I sit in bed with flu, I thought I better catch up on 'things' & here is the highlight! Monday & Ruben Witcombe is set for his second test, he'll admit that the first didn't go according to pan - nerves, need I say more! So today Ruben held it got some minor faults, but we came away with a pass & I could not be more proud of him! There is a car sitting at home with his name on it, so expect to see Ruben out & about any time soon. Great result!

This is Lucy Smith, looking rather pleased with herself and so she should! 1st time pass with just 3 driving faults! We were so pleased the threatened snow held off too!
Lucy has been a joy to help to her goal & I wish her all the very best for the future! 1st pass of the new '26 year!
