📢 I had to share this 》"Having recently reached 60, I felt like I was having a crisis of confidence. When I turned 50 I had a colour analysis session and a style day elsewhere, so I sort of knew what I liked and what suited me but I thought I was too old to wear them, I was in a rut and in desperate need of a style update.

A final bit of advice about swimwear and body shapes.
Although the advice I've been sharing is a great guide - you'll find over time that different styles will work better for you. Not just for your shape but your style personality too.

Certain styles that 'should' work for me, just feel too girly so I opt for a more simple, crop top style mostly.

Don't put that pressure on yourself to try on the first bikini you pick up and it to work.

Also, don't pressure yourself to wear a bikini over a swimsuit - wearing a two-piece is not a badge of honour. It is personal preference and what you feel most comfortable in.

Most of all, REMEMBER - no one is looking at you when you're by the pool - they are all concerned with their own bodies and wherever their kids are.

Please don't sacrifice fun and living your life to the fullest for overthinking and pulling yourself down.
