CONNECT is the national service for adopted children & young people in Wales
The CONNECT Service is made up of four elements
CONNECT Ambassadors and Voices - To represent the views and voices of adopted young people through Adoption Youth Councils
Connected - Monthly groups run by Adoption UK Cymru and regional partners
Awareness and upskilling - to train and raise awareness of adoption of professionals supporting children and young adopted people
Information and guidance - for young people by young people

We are delighted to share James's Fundraiser with you. James is a member of Connected and one of our CONNECT Voices Youth Council members and is PASSIONATE about support for adoptees. James is raising money to ensure 18+ adoptees can not only meet up to share their experiences, have support from their peers (and Connected staff) but most importantly have some fun and relax. Activities held in the past have included axe throwing, indoor climbing, to name a couple and give young adoptees an opportunity to talk/get support in an environment that feels 'safe'.
