Following an eight-month controlled trial across 12 Volvo A40G ADTs, Jones Bros recorded a proven:

Our mining team have now returned from Chile and Peru following a valuable period spent on site with customers and distributors across the region.

The feedback was hugely positive — customers are continuing to see major uptime benefits, with filters, lift pumps and injectors lasting significantly longer in demanding operating environments… and that’s before even discussing the 3%+ fuel savings being achieved.

It was also great to engage with a number of new projects already underway across the region.

A great moment for FuelActive last week, as our inventor and Engineering Director, Mike James, had the opportunity to meet with Antonio Patriota, Brazilian Ambassador to the UK.

The visit brought together organisations with active operations in Brazil, providing a valuable platform to discuss collaboration, innovation and the role of engineering in supporting key industries across the region.

For FuelActive, Brazil is an important and growing market. We are proud to be a long-term supplier to Atlas Copco in Brazil, supporting equipment operating in demanding environments where fuel quality can directly impact performance and reliability.

More recently, our Mining Director Thomas Michaelson-Yeates, has also been in discussions with leading mining OEMs, exploring how FuelActive can help protect machinery in challenging fuel conditions, while delivering measurable reductions in fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.

Moments like this reinforce the importance of global collaboration and the role British engineering continues to play on the international stage.

Our presence within the rail industry continues to grow, and it’s encouraging to see our work acknowledged as part of Colas Rail UK's latest sustainability commitments.

Following the successful installation of FuelActive across their rail grinding and milling fleet in 2024, the technology has now been rolled out to a further 20 tamper machines and 2 locomotives in 2025.



With CO₂ reductions of around 7%, FuelActive is helping support the rail sector’s transition toward a cleaner, more efficient fleet — delivering measurable environmental benefits while maintaining reliability in critical rail operations.

We’re excited to announce that FuelActive will be exhibiting at Africa’s premier mining event, Investing in African Mining Indaba, next week.
